About the Role:
As an Outbound Business Development Representative (BDR) at Hasura, you will play a critical role in driving the growth of our customer base. You will focus on identifying, qualifying, and creating new sales opportunities with prospective customers who can benefit from Hasura’s PromptQL technology. This position is ideal for a self-motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced, tech-driven environment and is eager to grow their sales career in the world of SaaS and developer tools.
What You’ll Do:
Conduct research to identify and prospect potential customers across industries, focusing on developers, engineering teams, and technical decision-makers.
Develop and execute creative outbound strategies, including cold emails, phone calls, and LinkedIn outreach, to generate new business opportunities.
Qualify inbound and outbound leads, ensuring alignment with Hasura’s ideal customer profile.
Partner closely with Account Executives to schedule discovery meetings and provide them with detailed handoffs for seamless engagement.
Leverage CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) to track activities, manage leads, and maintain accurate data.
Stay informed about Hasura’s product offerings, industry trends, and competitive landscape to effectively communicate value propositions to prospects.
Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly KPIs, including outreach volume, qualified meetings, and pipeline creation.
About You:
1-3 years of experience in an outbound sales, business development, or similar role (experience in SaaS or developer tools is a strong plus).
Strong understanding of the software development ecosystem, including familiarity with concepts like AI, LLMs, databases, APIs, and cloud services.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage and build rapport with technical and non-technical audiences.
Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
Proficiency with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and sales engagement tools (e.g., Outreach, Salesloft).
A growth mindset and eagerness to learn about Hasura’s technology and the developer space.
